Yvie Oddly Before Plastic Surgery
Yvie Oddly is a Denver-based drag queen. She was inspired by Sharon Needles on the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Her first show was at Center in Denver, CO. Later, she moved to Broadways Bar. Now she is a professional drag performer, fashion designer, and rapper.
Yvie Oddly is known for her quirky personality and unusual sense of style. Although she is often seen in flashy, eye-catching outfits, she has a long-term disease called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), which causes hypermobility in joints. This makes Yvie’s knees very susceptible to disengagement.
Despite her medical issues, Yvie has made it to the top of the Drag Race competition. The winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11 in 2019 earned the $100,000 prize. But, after winning, she did not immediately “glow up”. In fact, she explained why.
Yvie hasn’t talked much about her past. She keeps most details secret, except for her appearance on the popular reality show. However, rumors have begun to circulate about her undergoing plastic surgery. It appears that Yvie has had several different surgeries on her face. Though she has yet to officially declare her plastic surgery, she’s been featured on the internet a lot after the details came out.
As an adult, Yvie has been on the Were the World tour. She has also performed at a variety of bars. In addition, she has appeared as a “Lip-Sync Assassin” in the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 5 tournament.
Yvie is a fan of anything that will get people’s attention. She has spoken out against classism in the drag world. Also, she’s been known to bring up a frightening trend of people falling. She is also known to train surviving queens for a drag musical.
Yvie hasn’t revealed much about her family, including her age. She was born in Denver, CO. When she was 15, she was diagnosed with EDS.
During her school days, Yvie started hauling for her body. This was to help her stay in shape. After a fall, she realized that her joints were becoming disengaged. While her doctors did not think it was a serious issue, she was still concerned. Since then, she’s been under medical care to treat her connective tissue disorder.
Yvie has been seen on the hit TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race: Live in Las Vegas and RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars. For her performance on the latter, she wore a pair of custom made heels by Brooke Lynn Hytes, which she described as “fake feet.”

Yvie is also known for her love of art. She has a strong interest in transforming thrift store finds into wearable artwork.
