OSU Career Roadmap
The OSU Career Roadmap provides a roadmap for Ohio State employees regarding compensation and benefits. It was created to be flexible and adaptable to changing situations and is based on merit. Compensation has never been tied to the cost of living, but the plan makes adjustments to the pay ranges every five years to match the labor market. The University will also bring in staff below the minimum wage. This will be done by creating merit budgets for units and colleges.
In order to get started, you must first identify your long-term career goals. It is also important to consider intermediate goals as you move along. Your goal should be achievable, but challenging enough to make it exciting. While you may need to adjust your goals along the way, having a plan can help keep you on track and focused.
