Jennifer Love Hewitt
Jennifer Love Hewitt, born on February 21, 1979, has been in the spotlight for almost two decades. She has gone from child star to teen heartthrob, and now she’s trying to build a career in television.
A little girl from the small town of Waco, Texas, Jennifer began singing at a wild stock fair at age three. She later moved to Los Angeles with her mother and began taking dance lessons. After making her acting debut, she landed a role on Disney’s Kids Incorporated.
The Texas native was cast in several TV shows including Fox’s Party of Five, and the Disney Channel’s Kids Incorporated. Jennifer also took on roles in several films, including I Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), Can’t Hardly Wait (1998), Heartbreakers (2001), House Arrest (1997), and Trojan War (1997).
Her breakout role came on Party of Five, a series she starred in from 1995 to 1999. She also starred in a spin-off series called Time of Your Life. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled after only half a season.
She continued to work on other projects, including a children’s book. Jennifer and her mother eventually relocated to Los Angeles and she started working in commercials for brands such as LA Gear sneakers. During her time in Los Angeles, she was enrolled in a ballet class.
As her acting career developed, she took on more roles, including a lead role in a musical comedy, The Audrey Hepburn Story. She was also a member of the renowned dance company, the Texas Show Team. During her tenure with the troupe, she toured Europe and the Soviet Union.
At the age of 10, she began her acting career, starring in the television series Kids Incorporated and then in the 1998 film Can’t Hardly Wait. In the latter, she was cast as the title character, Amanda Beckett. This made her a star, and she would soon appear in six films in the next two years.
Although she is known for her performances, Jennifer Love Hewitt has been plagued by a number of struggles. She’s a former singer who has never topped the charts, and she’s had to deal with constant media scrutiny and criticism. And she’s been linked to a number of celebrity boyfriends.
One of her most notable roles is that of a young, newlywed who can talk to the dead. She appeared on a Lifetime movie entitled The Client List. Unlike other films that feature Jennifer as a prostitute, the story doesn’t seem to offer much new ground for her.
Despite a long list of acting roles, Jennifer Love Hewitt has always been more of a voice of support for women and body image than an actress. While she has been accused of being overweight, she’s managed to fight back and defend herself against criticism.
In addition to her acting, she’s also been a frequent spokesperson for many brands and charities, such as the Children’s Trust. Throughout her career, she’s been involved in a number of commercials and print ads.
