Demi Moore Wears a Bespoke Lanvin Wedding Dress
Demi Moore was among the guests at Princess Eugenie’s wedding today. She is a close friend of Eugenie’s mother Sarah Ferguson, as well as her father Andrew. The former actress also attended the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan in May. Her dress at this event was a bespoke Lanvin design.
The actress arrived at the event on the arm of her longtime friend, florist Eric Buterbaugh. As a member of the Royal Family, she would have been invited to a lunchtime reception at Windsor Castle. However, it is unclear whether she was invited to the evening reception, held at the princess’s childhood home. Earlier this year, she appeared at a Rodeo Drive benefit for Tom Ford and appeared on the cover of Star.
Several celebrities were in attendance at the event, including Kate Moss, Ellie Goulding, Naomi Campbell, Robbie Williams and Cara Delevingne. While they all had similar dresses, their designs were very different. For example, Ellie wore a navy blue dress, while Naomi opted for a black one. Also, Cara donned a tan strapless dress, while Naomi and Ellie each wore a black hat.
Moore’s wedding dress was a slinky, form-fitting gown with a slit. It featured a sheer overlay on the decolletage, as well as a netted veil that dipped at the bottom. Rather than the traditional white wedding dress, the actress chose a rich chocolate brown color. Her makeup was natural, and she complemented the look with a floral fascinator. A matching clutch and shoes were also worn by the actress.
Other celebrities who made an appearance at the wedding were: Demi Dawson, Mila Kunis, Demi Lovato, Ellie Goulding, Naomi and Cara Delevingne, Robbie Williams, Ed Sheeran, Naomi Campbell, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kate Middleton, and Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson. Most of them wore their hair up, while some opted to wear a braided chignon.
Demi and her husband, Barthlo Visagie, have been engaged since December 2022, so the ceremony was a particularly special event for the actress. Before their wedding, Moore had announced her engagement to Visagie on Instagram. Previously, she was married to Ashton Kutcher. Since the divorce, she has formed a new friendship with Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, who has also become a fan of her makeup line. In addition to the wedding, Demi also starred in a new video for AT&T. She shared her upcoming wedding plans with her followers, and a few of her daughters re-shared the video on Instagram.
During the wedding, 850 people were seated inside St George’s Chapel. However, a few of the more high-profile members of the Royal Family weren’t there, including George and Amal Clooney, and the couple’s two children. Another notable guest was former pop star, Beyonce, who attended the event and released a video clip of her wedding dress.
Despite the controversy surrounding the wedding, it’s easy to see that the guests were in awe of each other. From the bridal party’s beautiful dresses to the stunning bouquets, the wedding was a celebration for all.
