Who Won Alex Versus Brunch?

Kevin Lee has achieved remarkable success as a local chef. He has appeared on multiple cooking shows, such as Guy’s Grocery Games where his fried chicken sandwich made with smokey fried chicken thighs, truffle gouda drop biscuit, orange blossom honey and Fernandina Beach hot sauce impressed judges immensely. Additionally, Kevin was invited to compete against Alex Guarnaschelli of Iron Chef fame on Cooking Channel’s Alex vs America show and won.

On this episode of the show, Lee competes against three brunch experts from New Hampshire, California, and Arizona in two intense rounds of cooking. If Lee manages to outwit any one of these culinary maestros he could win $10,000!

Lee and his rivals must select ingredients to use in creating their dishes, then compete to see who impresses the judges most with their dish. Lee ultimately outwitted his rivals by offering sweet potato pancakes and eggs with smoked bacon to win this episode’s contest – read below for his recipe.
