Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Are Back in the Public Eye

Twins have long held a fascination for people. We worship, kill at birth, parade them as curiosities, probe and probe them and experiment on them; in fact, twins often remain part of public conversation even after leaving the spotlight; this was certainly the case with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, famous twin sisters who went on to found The Row luxury fashion label.

Olsen twins, now 37 years old, have largely kept out of the public eye since retiring from acting and focusing on their eponymous fashion brands. But on Wednesday morning in New York City they were seen together, dressed to beat the cold for a quick coffee run – Ashley donned her navy coat, jeans, black beanie and sunglasses for this outing.

Mary-Kate went for a more vibrant take on her outfit, wearing a vibrant burgundy velvet coat with flowy green velour pants and blue Nike Air Max sneakers. Both sisters accessorized with large scarves – Mary-Kate had black while Ashley had brown ones – as well as matching alligator bags from their line.

While Elizabeth and Mary-Kate do not often appear together publicly, they have been working hard on their new Disney+ show WandaVision which premiered last month. Fans have already had an inside peek into Elizabeth and Mary-Kate’s Marvel Cinematic Universe alter egos Wanda and Diana but now viewers will witness another major role they are taking on: mother and daughter roles!

Olsen twins epitomize twinhood. Starring on ABC sitcom Full House as Michelle Tanner and her younger sister, they made their on-screen debut as toddlers, quickly becoming household names. Over time they developed an iconic style characterized by loose clothing in neutral tones with layers for maximum effect – all hallmarks of style twins can display. And now as faces of their fashion label The Row they continue proving that twins always stay fashionable!
