Translate Airport to Russian
Airports can often be overwhelming for travellers, but with modern technologies it might soon be possible to reduce traveller stress altogether. JFKIAT (John F Kennedy International Airport Terminal 4’s operator in New York City) recently implemented a live translation service which allows passengers to communicate directly with airport staff in their native languages.
Interpreter Mode uses Google Translate technology adapted specifically to meet the needs of an airport. Passengers can access this system on mobile devices while airport staff have control of which language it will translate from and into.
Rocket Russian will prove particularly useful to tourists who can now communicate with airport staff in their native tongue and receive answers to all their inquiries in an easy-to-use format. Furthermore, an audio lesson offers helpful words and phrases you may encounter at airports – like how to request window seats or how to check when flights are boarding!
