Tory Lanez New Album 2021

Tory Lanez Drops His New Album 2022

Tory Lanez of Toronto has taken to social media in recent months to inform fans that he is working on new music. Despite an ongoing criminal case regarding his alleged domestic violence incident with Megan Thee Stallion, “Chixtape” hitmaker Tory Lanez announced on Friday (September 16) he would release his 18-track Sorry 4 What album on September 30.

Lanez released his last LP Alone At Prom in December 2017, which debuted at No.59 on the Billboard 200 chart and yielded hits like Lady of Namek, 87 Stingray and Enchanted Waterfall. This album marks his return with new material after so long away.

Lanez stated in his statement that this project marked his “return to his roots”. From the sugary hooks of Alone At Prom and S4W to its trap beats and melodic melodies – you will feel every vibe.”

S4W will mark Lanez’s third full-length album release this year, following his releases of Loner in January and Daystar earlier this month. Loner featured guest appearances from A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Yoko Gold while Daystar showcased Lanez’s ability to switch seamlessly between singing and rapping.

This project encompasses many different themes. Lanez often discusses love and devotion in his vocals; this LP serves as a great accompaniment while smoking a joint or relaxing at home.

Production-wise, this album boasts a range of sounds and styles from producers like SickBit, SupahSwitch and more – yet one sound stands out more than any other: drumming! The drumming on this project is dope and sets the atmosphere perfectly – definitely setting off its atmosphere for this journey.

S4W features not only drumming but also high-pitched vocals from Tory Lanez that is unique and will likely leave fans of his traditional rapping style intrigued as he returns with future projects. Tory has proven his mettle with this project so far – releasing songs and videos via TikTok over recent months while serving time in prison as well.
