The Morning Mess Relocates to Top 40 B96 (WBBM-FM)/Chicago

The Morning Mess will move from Audacy CHR KALV/Phoenix to Top 40 B96 (WBBM-FM)/Chicago as its morning show starting the week of April 4, originating in Chicago and broadcast from 5:30am-10am CT originating out of Chicago. Joey Boy, Aneesh Ratan, Jeana Shepard and Karla Hernandez will host their morning show from Chicago from 5:30am-10am CT; popular segments like “Nachoo’s Revenge” featuring Joey Boy and his alter ego Joey Boy calling unsuspecting listeners will also feature on B96 version of show.

Gabe Ramirez and Nina Hajian had parted ways as B96 morning duo until last summer when Ramirez continued with the company under an undisclosed role that has yet to be revealed. Hajian remains with B96 in an unannounced capacity.

Joey Boy has been with the company since 2013 and serves as its ringleader. Aneesh Ratan joined two years later as an original co-host on Live 101.5; Jeana Shepard began with us two years later; both became part of The Morning Mess as of January 2019 alongside Karla Hernandez.
