Michelle Branch was born in Phoenix, Arizona on July 2, 1983. She is an American singer-songwriter. Her debut album, The Spirit Room, sold over two million copies in the United States. It spawned the single “All You Wanted,” which was produced by Christina Aguilera. In October 2007, she announced her return to the studio to produce a new solo album. On the heels of the album release, she embarked on a nationwide tour. During this time, she performed in a number of unusual venues including the Kennedy Space Center, the White House, and a stadium with an enigmatic mascot.
In addition to her music endeavors, Branch is also a renowned fashionista and social media maven. She possesses a keen eye for fashion and has appeared in the pages of high profile magazines such as Rolling Stone and Vogue. Branch has a sister, Nicole, who also performs backing vocals. Among her other credits are a starring role in the CBS television soap opera Guiding Light. At the ripe old age of twenty-four, Branch has garnered a large fan base.
