Jessica Thompson, 35, of Kite, Georgia Passed Away on August 9, 2018
Jessica Thompson is a 35 year old woman who passed away on August 9, 2018 in Kite. She is survived by her mother, Janelle Langley (Joe) of Kite; father, Danny Thompson of Swainsboro; daughters, Kayla Norris of Gray and Karmen Thompson of Kite; brothers, Clint Thompson of Kite and Joey Langley III of Lakeland, Florida; sister, Sera Harris of Swainsboro; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 13, 2018 in Hillcrest Baptist Church with Reverends Craig Tillman, Josh Black and Jonathan Shepard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Chapman Funeral Home in Swainsboro, Georgia.
She was a graduate of Johnson County High School and earned her Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of North Alabama in 2011. She was also a graduate of the Georgia State College for Business Administration in Macon, Georgia. She is a certified professional in forensic accounting and has worked for several financial firms.
In addition to her work as a lawyer, she also works for the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame in Milledgeville. She has also served as an archival assistant for the museum and a senior docent for the Johnston-Felton-Hay Historic property in Macon.
The biggest medical procedure she ever did was a surgery called the Roux-en-Y, which helps to lower her blood pressure by narrowing the arteries. Her doctor recommended this procedure as a way to help her control her diabetes.
She has also taken up running and is currently training for a marathon. She is a strong believer in a healthy lifestyle and has been working to lose weight. She is a fan of TikTok and regularly posts pictures of her adventures on the app.
She is a strong advocate for healthy living and has made it her mission to inspire others to make positive changes in their lives. She is an avid supporter of charity and has been featured on a number of websites to promote her causes. She is also a content creator on TikTok and has produced her own podcast with fellow reality TV star Tina Arnold.
