Michelle Obama’s video in which she praises Beyonce on her Netflix documentary Homecoming has gone viral. Michelle’s encouraging words come a day after Beyonce released the documentary as well as live album of Coachella performance and shortly before she was honored in Time 100 issue this week.

Big Freedia, commonly referred to as the “Queen of Bounce,” has collaborated with Netflix’s Strong Black Lead team on an original New Orleans bounce remix to be included in their upcoming series Queen Charlotte. This HBCU-focused project serves as a prequel to Bridgerton and tells the tale of how Queen Charlotte’s marriage to King George resulted in both great love and social change; Freedia shot her music video for this single at her hometown Xavier University.
