A Crime Junkie Kills His Ex-Boyfriend

Emma Walker was a sixteen-year-old cheerleader in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was killed by her ex-boyfriend. Her body was found in a bedroom with a bullet behind her left ear. Initially, police thought the death was a suicide, but it was later confirmed that it was a murder.

When Gaul broke up with Emma Walker, he was banned from her house by her parents. However, he had friends who came forward to help him with the arrest. They showed him the bedroom where she had died and where he could dump the gun. Then they lied to the authorities to help him hide the truth.

According to the investigation, Gaul grew obsessed with Walker. He took Vicodin after the breakup. He also had a “nerdy” side. His friends noticed that he started to be more controlling. Before the breakup, Gaul gave her an iPod Touch. Once the relationship ended, he snatched her freedom by pretending to be kidnapped.

Gaul’s lawyer knew where Emma slept. Nevertheless, he still lied to police about what happened. In fact, he claimed to have been in Maryville, Alabama, when the murder took place. A detective even told him that he could have shot the victim, but he wasn’t sure whether the gunshots penetrated the walls of the bedroom.

As the investigation progressed, investigators found that two gunshots had entered the bedroom. They were found in close proximity to the bedroom window. The second shot struck the wall just behind the ear. The bullet that hit the ear is tiny, but there was a small amount of blood on the pillow. One of the bullets struck the ear, causing the woman to die instantly.

The police suspected that the boyfriend, 18-year-old Riley Gaul, had killed Emma Walker. After the two were caught, they were charged with robbery and tampering with evidence. Since then, he has served time in prison. During the court proceedings, he was found guilty of felony murder, stalking, reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence, and possession of a firearm during a felony. Currently, he is being denied retrial.

While the death of Emma Walker may not have been as straightforward as it first appeared, it did not take long for her friends to find out that her ex-boyfriend was responsible. After the breakup, Walker had no idea who had taken the gun from her. But, her mother had a few ideas. Initially, she thought that Walker had died of a self-inflicted gunshot. But, after the investigation, she realized that Gaul had probably been in the house all along.

Even if Gaul was not the person who killed Emma Walker, the story of how she was murdered is a tragic one. It is a testament to the long tradition of adolescent love maltreatment in the United States. And, it is a tragic story of how love can be twisted into violence.
