Created for a client from New York, this stunning creation was completed with matching veil and pearl buttons down the back for added elegance and finished off by over $4 Million price tag – not surprisingly from Middle Eastern businesswoman herself!
The luxurious gown is yet another example of how one designer has managed to take a timeless style and transform it into something contemporary. He is known for incorporating contemporary trends like asymmetrical hemlines, oversized sleeves and off-the-shoulder detailing into his collections; as well as using lace and feathers to update classic silhouettes like sheath dresses with flair. His prices remain fair compared to some high-end labels.
At London Fashion Week this year, designer Ralph Vaccarello integrated resort elements into his collection. His barely-there dresses and swimsuits featured lace, silk knits, floral motifs, sheer panels with tattoo-like embroideries and sheer panels featuring tattoo-inspired embroideries – truly an elegant collection with models sashaying down the runway with flair!
Julien MacDonald’s love of knitting stemmed from learning it with his mother and two nurses sisters (both nurses). The Freemasons Hall was filled with clients and reality TV stars wearing MacDonald’s glamorous designs; from Kylie Minogue in an outfit studded with silver sparkle-encrusted straps all the way down to Kylie herself wearing one! MacDonald certainly found his niche with these breathtaking designs that left people gasping at every show stopper they saw! No doubt MacDonald will continue producing stylish red carpet-worthy pieces!
