Celine Dion and Her Family Wear a Christmas Ornament
Celine Dion and her family are truly getting into the spirit of Christmas! On Christmas Eve, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer posted an adorable family photo featuring herself and three of her sons: Rene-Charles (oldest son), twin Nelsons and Eddy clad in star-print pajamas and smiling brightly before an ornament-decorated Christmas tree. Dion captioned her post by saying that this holiday season may bring “gifts of love, peace, health, hope for brighter days ahead!”
Dion posted this adorable family picture just a few days before the one-year anniversary of Rene Angelil’s passing from throat cancer, as she and her children went skiing in Montana as one of their holiday traditions before his illness was diagnosed. Dion also recently spoke out to Page Six about how her children are dealing with losing their father, who died aged 73 at that time.
Dion was forced to postpone her Courage World Tour earlier this year due to unexpected health complications. Since then, she’s been slowly returning to stage performance – though no timeline has been set on when her Las Vegas residency will return.
Dion has certainly earned her break, and we look forward to welcoming her back on stage soon. In the meantime, we can watch all her best concert performances here on YouTube!
Pop legend Celine Dion is known for her powerful vocals and incredible talent. Her many hits include her Grammy-winning duet with R. Kelly “I’m Your Angel” as well as covering Bing Crosby’s classic, “White Christmas”.
Dion has released several Christmas-themed music projects in addition to her hit albums. Her first Christmas album, These Are Special Times, was released in 1998 and remains an excellent choice for fans of classic holiday tunes. Dion skillfully blends popular carols (such as “The Christmas Song” and “Feliz Navidad”) with newer compositions like hymns (“Ave Maria,” “O Holy Night”) that feature strong religious themes into this memorable album – her strong vocals help make this memorable holiday project.
