Lowly Worm has been shopping for apples today. He is in a hurry! But before he can get the apples to Huckle, he has to get to the party. That means he has to take a crazy applecar ride! This children’s book is illustrated by Scarry and has lots of flaps for little hands to open.

The Lowly Worm is a character from the children’s books by Richard Scarry. He rarely appears as a main character, but he often shows up in hidden places, and he’s known for his apple car. While it’s not fast or a big car, his apple-colored car is cute and makes a cute puttering noise. There’s a movie based on his story, called Sparky’s Apple Car.
