Frank’s Car Wash is a South Carolina chain of car washes. It was founded in 1977 in Columbia, SC. Under the leadership of Mike Hutchins, the company has grown rapidly. Today, it employs more than 250 people and is the largest car wash chain in the state. The company is part of Driven Brands, the nation’s largest automotive service provider. It owns over 4,200 locations across the United States, and is aggressively acquiring new car wash locations.

Mike Hutchins, the second-generation owner of Franks, wanted to take advantage of the strong M&A market in the carwash sector, while ensuring that the company would remain family-owned.
