A Fatal Car Accident Occurred Yesterday in South Jersey
The crash involved three cars, including a red Nissan Maxima that struck a dump truck in South Brunswick. The father of one of the victims was killed. The driver and other passengers sustained minor to moderate injuries. The crash closed down the intersection for six hours. The accident remains under investigation.
The driver of the van did not heed a stop sign, which led to the crash. The van was carrying six passengers. At least four were in critical condition. The van was badly damaged. The front end was nearly pushed inward. The accident is still under investigation, but it remains shocking to learn of the lives lost.
Police and emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash, where the two victims were found trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters rescued the victim and took her to Trenton Medical Center. She was reportedly suffering from traumatic injuries. But unfortunately, she was not able to survive, and was pronounced dead the following day. An autopsy has yet to be conducted.
The crash also injured multiple people in Cumberland County. The crash occurred at around 6:15 pm on Route 77. New Jersey State Police are investigating, and no further details have been released. Although there is no information available at this time, preliminary reports suggest that one vehicle hit another and then rolled over. Some of the injured were flown to local hospitals.
