You may have seen CNN’s Chris Cuomo go off the deep end in a recent segment, calling a man “Fredo.” That’s a reference to the character of Fredo Corleone in the Godfather films. The clip went viral and has since turned Chris Cuomo into a douchey silver spoon news anchor.

Chris Cuomo has been compared to his cousin, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. Several of his tweets have been laced with sexist slurs, while his wife has been accused of promoting pseudoscientific quackery. One particularly offensive meme depicts Cuomo as a woman in a bathrobe.

Despite the absurdity of his behavior, he has been able to survive the recent controversy. Cuomo has filed a $125 million arbitration lawsuit against CNN over the story. He claims the reporting destroyed his reputation, career prospects, and future earnings. Meanwhile, in another scandal, a female temp worker accused him of sexual assault while working at ABC News. Cuomo, of course, has denied the allegations and is set to give his first televised interview since the scandal broke.
