OSCAR – The Oscar Webscreener

The Academy of Arts and Sciences has prohibited the distribution of physical Oscar screeners, but there are now groups who make and release digital copies under the name OSCAR. Screener copies were traditionally given to industry insiders at year’s end. Before, the process involved a massive logistics operation.
