Shawn Levy is a Canadian film director, producer, actor and the founder and principal of 21 Laps Entertainment. His credits include Free Guy and Stranger Things among many other successful projects.

As a child, he enjoyed watching the TV show Schittt’s Creek with his parents. His love of the show and their support of him were both immense.
His father was Jewish and his mother Protestant. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and has lived there ever since he was a small boy.
