Saquon Barkley Makes His Met Gala Debut
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley made his Met Gala debut. Wearing a sleek black tuxedo, the rookie was all business, displaying the latest in fashion trends. His look was reminiscent of LeBron James’s playoff wardrobe from last year.
The Met Gala was held on the evening of May 3 in New York City. This annual event benefits the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. The event was attended by several celebs and sports stars, including the likes of Odell Beckham Jr. and Julian Edelman. There were a few notable performances, such as Jennifer Lopez, who froze her hair to match her attire.
Saquon Barkley won the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award and also won the FedEx Ground Player of the Year trophy. He also made the team’s roster and was a member of the Pro Bowl. Although he is a relative newcomer to the Giants, he’s gotten the benefit of the doubt from his teammates and coach.
While he may not be at the top of his game right now, Barkley has shown enough signs of greatness to keep his name in the conversation. The most important thing to remember is that he must maintain a high level of performance. If he does, he’ll be the best quarterback in the NFL for a long time.
As for the most important question, the answer is a bit less straightforward. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, there’s a good chance that Barkley will face off against Brady in the preseason later this year. However, if he’s lucky, he could see action in the regular season as well.

Other highlights include an epic dance number from Jennifer Lopez, who froze her hair for the occasion, a glitzy sexy sexy performance from a few of the hunks and babes, and an aptly sexy photo op. Also on the card were a couple of tycoons in the form of Ezra Miller and Alex Rodriguez, as well as former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union.
As for the MET Gala, the name is a mouthful and it’s easy to see why. The event attracted a slew of stylish and glamorous celebs. But the aforementioned tuxedo and the corresponding triton may have been the big winners.
