Pictures of Corbin Bleu
Corbin Bleu made waves around the globe when High School Musical first hit screens in 2006. Both movies broke Disney Channel viewership records. Furthermore, these shows introduced young people to theater and its stars such as Bleu. Now in 2022 he is back on screen in High School Musical: The Musical TV series playing an exaggerated version of himself!
Corbin Reivers was raised in Brooklyn, New York by Martha (Callari) and David Reivers, where he attended dance classes before beginning to appear in television commercials at age two for products such as Life cereal, Bounty, Nabisco and others. Furthermore, magazines like Child, Parent and American Baby featured fashion spreads featuring him.
At age six he made his professional theater debut off Broadway as an abandoned homeless mute in Tiny Tim is Dead. Subsequently he went on to star in various productions both on and off Broadway including Roundabout Theatre Company’s Tony nominated production of Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn which earned him the Chita Rivera Award for Outstanding Male Dancer on Broadway as well as landing Ted Hanover from Kiss Me Kate production and appearing as Jesus during revival of Godspell revival productions.
As much as Corbin has acted on film (in movies like Soldier and Mystery Men), his most lauded work lies within theater, where he has received multiple Drama Desk Award nominations and even won one; for his performance as Chad Danforth in HSM he won the Tony Award as Best Leading Actor. Corbin has also featured in Jump In!, The Beautiful Life, and The Amanda Show films.
