Natasha Kaplinsky is an English newsreader, TV presenter, businesswoman and activist who has worked for networks such as Sky News, BBC News, Channel 5 and ITV News. Additionally, she has spearheaded many charity events and programs. Additionally, she co-founded ‘Mum & You’ – a company providing care products for babies and mothers.

She has appeared as a guest on numerous radio shows and presented TV programmes such as Strictly Come Dancing with professional partner Brendan Cole. In the first series of the show, seven million viewers watched her performances.

She is a regular presenter on UK television channels such as BBC, Channel 5 and ITV 1. She hosts programs like Breakfast and News at Six, plus she serves as ambassador for British charity Save the Children.

In 2010, she earned a Golden Globe nomination in the category of Best Actress in a TV Series – Musical or Comedy for her performance in “Rent”. This nomination was based on her performance as “Emma” in the movie.

Before marriage, she was a student and worked in the press offices of former Labour Party leaders Neil Kinnock and John Smith. In 1996 she presented F2F on Granada Talk TV with Sacha Baron Cohen; nine months later she moved on to Meridian News Broadcasts as host. The following year (1999), she joined ITV’s London News Network where she hosted morning and evening news programs London Today as well as political show Seven Days.

After several years in the industry, she was offered a job by Sky News where she became their main presenter of their breakfast and early evening news programmes. Additionally, she presented the weekly children’s entertainment programme ‘Saturday Swings’.
