Michael Jackson’s iconic red and black leather jacket from Thriller has been sold at an auction for a whopping $1.8 million, The Daily Beast reported. Milton Verret of Austin, Texas who owns an extensive collection of rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia purchased the jacket.

Thriller is one of music’s iconic albums. Released in 1982, it spent 522 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart and has been reissued numerous times over time. Now, this iconic record will be featured at a new exhibit at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.
