Melissa Rowan – Dance/Pop Singer From the 1980s

Melissa Rowan, also known as Beth Rowan Metzler in the 1980s, is a dance/pop artist. She was born in Mahopac, New York, and has been writing songs since high school. In 1988, she released the single “Somebody Like You” on the soundtrack of the Gregory Hines film “Tap.” This single did not chart in the U.S. but garnered praise from critics.
