Katie Williams is Running For a Seat on the Clark County School District Board of Trustees

Katie Williams is running for a seat on the Clark County School District Board of Trustees and she’s made headlines with her conservative social media comments. In March, she boasted on Twitter about eating at Red Robin during the government shutdown while labeling antifa as a “terrorist organization.”

She is running against Jeff Proffitt for District B seat and says she wants to bring a conservative voice to the board. A mother and member of the Nevada Army National Guard, her bio on CCSD website states she currently works in Recruiting and Retention.

Williams, who describes herself as a “Mostly Peaceful Elect” on her Twitter account, has an extensive background in real estate development. With over three decades of experience under her belt, she offers clients personalized guidance through every step of the development process – from entitlements to sales and marketing – from start to finish.

Her expertise in the field is supported by a global brand name that can offer unparalleled exposure and marketing opportunities for her clients. She has collaborated on projects ranging from condo developments to luxury high rises and single family homes, always staying at the forefront of each development phase.

One of her greatest successes is a project she’s collaborated on with Sotheby’s International Realty, which includes residential developments in Las Vegas and San Francisco. These residential complexes are expected to be finished by 2020 and will include luxury residences and condos.

She has also been actively engaged in community service, aiding the homeless, volunteering with Feed My Starving Children and volunteering at a local dog shelter. A graduate of Reedley College where she played one season for coach Dan Kilbert, she plans to continue her education at CSUB.
