90 Day Fiance Star Heather Gay Opens Up About Her Past

Heather Gay, star of 90 Day Fiance and founder of Beauty Lab + Laser, revealed in her latest book that she was arrested for DUI back in 2012 and still struggles to come to terms with the incident.

Her book was a sensation, yet it’s evident that her relationship with her family has not improved over time. She’s estranged from several members of her extended family members – including brothers and sisters – due to a series of unfortunate events.

One of her greatest conflicts is with her father, Billy Gay. She admits that when she was arrested in 2012 for DUI, her dad was furious with her and still holds that grudge today.

Despite her family’s disapproval, the 46-year-old told Us she is striving to move on with her life. She stated that she no longer fits in with the church’s teachings and so wishes to leave behind it behind.

Her book states that she was arrested in November 2012 while celebrating a friend’s birthday at church and never shared the incident with anyone except her bishop at church. Even her friends and daughters were unaware of it at that time.

She spoke candidly about how much her sexuality has evolved since joining the show, admitting that while she doesn’t have as many close relationships with women anymore, she feels much more love for men than before.

Mahmoud, a former Idaho native, met Mahmoud on an “enchanting” trip to Egypt. At first she found the country quite different than her home state of Idaho but quickly fell in love with him and decided to relocate there for him.

Nicole and Mahmoud had been dating for a year before they got engaged, and after some time had passed, Nicole wanted to return home due to culture shock. It wasn’t easy for her to part ways with Mahmoud, so eventually they asked each other to divorce.

Nicole and Mahmoud eventually renewed their romance in America, where they have now been happily together for two years. They got engaged in July 2021 and got married the following October.

In January 2023, they welcomed their first child – a baby boy – into the world. Throughout the pregnancy, there were many ups and downs to contend with.

Her husband Tarek El Moussa, best known as a Flip or Flop co-host on the reality series, has also shown support for her fertility journey. They’re currently trying to freeze embryos before trying for a baby but this could take some time.

Their relationship has been the source of much controversy on the show, so they decided to take matters into their own hands and strive for a baby. Despite all obstacles, they’ve managed to come out on top as real-life parents of five.
