Emmy Rossum Rocks a Carolina Herrera Wedding Dress

Emmy Rossum recently tied the knot in New York with director Sam Esmail (creator of Mr. Robot). For her special day she chose Carolina Herrera for an embroidered off-the-shoulder gown with delicate lace details that draped gracefully and draped back revealing its delicate veil; an image every bride-to-be dreams about wearing on her big day!

Emmy and Sam’s Memorial Day wedding was an elegant affair attended by celebrity guests such as Hilary Swank, Robert Downey Jr. and Rami Malek. After exchanging vows at Central Synagogue in Manhattan, the ceremony continued at Guggenheim Museum for reception where actor kept her bridal look intact all night long! She used Repeat Roses to transform her bouquets into blooms which were donated directly to patients at Mount Sinai Hospital – not only was dancing the night away possible!

Over the years, we have witnessed many celebrity wedding dresses – from Vera Wang to Roksanda to Valentino – but this particular design might just take the cake! So romantic and whimsical yet perfect for such an elegant event — its hard to believe it wasn’t written as part of a movie script!

Rossum selected her stunning wedding dress as a custom creation from Venezuelan-born label, known for their floral embellished styles with off-the-shoulder sleeves and floor-sweeping trains, making an impressionful entrance at her ceremony. To complete her look she chose Paul Andrew pumps, diamond earrings and cathedral length veil from Paul Andrew.

Rossum has previously donned a flowing white number — she even donned a Carolina Herrera wedding gown when seen out and about with her husband last year! If anything, her bridal ensemble might even surpass that which she donned when playing Nola in 2004 when Sean Penn played her father-in-law (in the film version).

No wonder she chose this look; the style was meant for wedding day! We can’t wait to see what gown she decides on for her next big event!
