Dua Lipa Concert DVD Review

In the music world, we’ve had our fair share of high profile pop stars but the one that has stood out is Dua Lipa. She’s been making big waves with her catchy tunes and sultry vocals. Her latest album is a pop-laden romp. Her upcoming tour is set to kick off in Miami on February 9th. To top off a big year, she is also in the running for the next Grammys’ Best Female Album. You can probably expect some of those songs to make it on the radio.

While Dua may be more concerned with the music than the camera, she is no stranger to a well made video. The concert was filmed in four live streams on November 27th. She was joined by some of her favorite musicians including Lady Gaga, Elton John, FKA Twigs, and Bad Bunny. On the ticket front, the event sold 263,200 tickets. It was the show’s biggest crowd turnout, and the first major live event to sell out the venue since Taylor Swift’s 2011 concert. Whether the success can be replicated at venues elsewhere is another matter.

Dua and her crew have garnered accolades in the pop music business for the better part of a decade. She’s earned two Grammys, an Emmy, and countless other awards and accolades. She’s been in the news for her sexy looks, but it’s her catchy tunes and sultry voice that’s made her the queen of the pop charts.
