Don Williams Cowboy Hat
One of the most famous country singers in history is Don Williams. He is known for his soft voice and his knack for writing tuneful songs. In fact, he is credited with 38 Top Five hits on the Billboard’s Hot Country Charts.
When he first started out, Don Williams was a member of the Pozo-Seco Singers, which was a folk band that included Lofton Cline, Susan Taylor, and John Saxon. The group stayed together until 1970. They were also known for their hit record, “Time.”
After working in the publishing business in Nashville, Don Williams signed a recording contract with Jack Clement. His success with this deal led him to a full-time music career. He went on to become a chart-topper and inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
In 1972, Jack Clement offered Don Williams a recording contract with JMI Records. Although Don was initially hesitant, he eventually decided to go ahead with the deal. This is where the hat-symbol came into play.
The hat is made from 100% light tan Wool Felt and has a 3 1/2 inch brim. It also comes with a dark brown 7/8 inch grosgrain ribbon hat band. There is also a 50 X BEAVER Fur Felt hat available.
Another interesting fact about the hat is that it was inspired by a Mexican sombrero. This was a wide brimmed hat with a ribbon bow inside. These were used in black and white movies to make the contrast between characters easier to see.
Another factor that makes the hat stand out from the rest is the brim. The brim of the hat is designed to be folded up or down to provide shade or insulation. And the brim can be turned to face the front, back, or sides.
The ribbon bow is intended to look like a skull and crossbones. This is done to remember the hatters who developed brain damage from exposure to mercury.
While there are many different styles of cowboy hats, it isn’t always clear which one is best. The sand colored hat is a popular choice. However, it can have distressed or unsightly appearance. You can also try a metallic silver or yellow hat.
Another notable hat is the “Open Road.” This hat is hand blocked in the United States and has a classic cattleman’s crown. It also has a round brim and a leather sweatband. Moreover, it has an interior satin lining and a leather strap to hold it in place.
A number of famous musicians have worn a hat in one of their albums. Tom Mix has appeared in a black hat a few times. Others include Glenn Ford and Tex Ritter.
Fortunately, a Don Williams hat can be found in the appropriate sizes. This particular hat is available in six different sizes: from a 6 7/8 inch to a 7 3/4 inch. Despite its size, the hat is still very light in weight.
Whether you wear it to the beach or out to dinner with your wife, a Don Williams hat is sure to bring a smile to your face.
