Dancing With the Stars Live Recap

The first night of double elimination on “Dancing with the Stars” was an exciting one for both stars and judges alike. It also featured an all-star reunion dance, which culminated with an amazing tango from Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber.

On the live show, each celebrity performed two dances: one solo and the second group. The couple with the lowest combined judge score and viewer vote was eliminated automatically; all other pairs were decided by the judges based on their scores from Monday and Tuesday as well as any bonus points earned during the dance marathons.

We can expect some incredible performances from the final four. Actor and TV host Wayne Brady, TikTok star Charli D’Amelio, drag queen Shangela and “Bachelorette” star Gabby Windasy will all be taking part in the dance off.

Following that, each celebrity will perform some more individual dances. We’ll also have some freestyles and a team dance battle as well.

Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart performed the first dance, a Viennese Waltz to “Surprise Yourself” by Jack Garratt. Carrie Ann said it was special and teary-eyed while Derek described it as an emotional and heartfelt dance.

Next up were Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater with their contemporary to “Ghost.” Len thought it was an amazing dance that felt truly honest, while Derek also expressed how touching it was. He could sense all of the energy and emotion in it, while Bruno was highly complimentary of their performance.

He praised her dancing and noted how well she used body contact and arms.

On the second dance, Shangela and Gleb performed a jazz routine to “Look What You Made Me Do” by Taylor Swift. The judges were highly impressed with how well they used their personality to the song; it was an entertaining and captivating dance that earned them 10s across the board.
