Say Yes to the Dress Consultants – Claudia Oshry and Randy Fenoli
During the first season of the Say Yes to the Dress television series, there was one consultant who really caught on with viewers. She was a flamboyant, know-it-all, social media star who also brought some sass to her appointments. In a short time, Claudia gained internet fame and was offered an internship with a fashion company.
However, things took a turn for the worse when she was fired from the show. It is unclear how exactly she got the boot. Some sources have speculated that she was just not a good fit. Others claim she was put in a position where she was not a good consultant.
Having said that, there are a few people that you can say were really a ring on the finger of luck. This includes Claudia Oshry, who was the consultant on the Say Yes to the Dress: Second Time Around. Although she was famous for her fast cuts and her ability to make a dress look bigger than it actually is, her wittering was no match for the consulting skills of Lisa Fuhrman.
The other big winner was Oshawa Durham, who starred on TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta alongside Lori Allen. She had to step in to help Chris Norton get out of a wheelchair and also authored a book about the seven longest yards. Since then, she has been approached by producers in Baltimore and Los Angeles.
Randy Fenoli has been working on the Say Yes to the Dress show for fourteen years. He has been the Fashion Director at Kleinfeld Bridal, as well as a fashion designer, a make-up artist, and an entertainment entrepreneur. Currently, he is an independent consultant, although he may be able to meet with brides in the future.
Besides having a wacky hat and a sassy Instagram account, he is also a fashion designer who started his career at the age of nine. His first job was with Paul Diamond. After leaving that position, he attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Several years later, he became a fashion consultant, eventually launching his own line of wedding dresses.
The “Say Yes to the Dress” is about famous bridal salon Kleinfeld in New York City. On the show, consultants wear mostly black and assist brides with their selections. They often have to deal with entourages of family members, which can be an annoying experience for a bride who does not have her parents in the room. But, the staff at Kleinfeld know how to handle it, and are able to give the crabby mother-in-law a piece of their mind.
Another member of the team is Amy Pokora, who has been in four episodes of Say Yes to the Dress. She is also the director of VIP experiences for the show. There is also Emily Wilfinger, who has appeared on four episodes. A newcomer to the show is Shay Yarbrough, who is listed as a Senior Sales Professional.
