The Chase Rice Hat Drops Thursday at Lids

Chase Rice is a multi-Platinum entertainer, reality TV star and former college linebacker who understands the importance of staying fit.

Country music star Blake Shelton is expanding his headwear selection with a limited-edition collaboration with global hat retailer Lids. These hats will be available Thursday at select Lids stores and online.

These eye-catching blue and orange hats come in sizes ranging from small to large, as well as various styles. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Best Buddies Maryland, a nonprofit organization which offers one-to-one friendships and integrated employment opportunities for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

For further details on this collaboration, be sure to check out Lids’ magazine’s latest issue. The publication gives an exhaustive overview of their new partnership.

Koozies were also on display and can be purchased for the low, low price of $20. This black koozie is the ideal size for beer – although you could probably fit more inside – and made of grippy material which keeps the booze cold.

Aside from the hats and some delectable seafood dishes, the main attraction was undoubtedly the show. Multi-Platinum entertainer John Legend and his band were in top form as they performed several of his biggest hits as well as some personal favorites.

Like any good musical tour, there were some missteps. The first half of the set was a bit dry but that didn’t stop the band from producing some engaging tunes. The biggest letdown was not having an audience sing-along.

No doubt the hat o’ lights was the latest addition, but it only added a minor distraction for the rest of the evening. After watching the concert, we stopped by Jimmy’s for some delicious shrimp and chowder trifecta for dinner.
