Jack Skellington
Jack Skellington is the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town. He’s the protagonist of the 1993 film The Nightmare Before Christmas. As well as being the main character of the film, Jack also appears in some sequels. His singing voice was provided by Danny Elfman, who was credited with songwriting for the film.
In the game Jack’s character is only in black and white, which makes the character unique from most other Disney characters. The only other black-and-white Disney characters are those that come from black-and-white films. Tim Burton, who directed the film, is the artist who created the character.
While Jack’s face has been shown in numerous movies, television shows and other media, he’s never been franchised. However, he has appeared in theme park rides, like the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland, and in a Disney theme park movie, Ralph Breaks the Internet.
Jack also appears in other media, such as a cartoon short called “The Nightmare Before Hanukah,” which is part of a parody of the movie. There is also a comic book series called Lenore, which includes Jack’s face. Some of the character’s designs have been incorporated into other Halloween-themed films, such as The Princess and the Frog.
Jack is a very important character in the Halloween world, and he makes appearances throughout the season. Aside from being the main protagonist of the film, he’s also one of the most popular Halloween spirits. When he first appeared in the series, he was the leader of the Pumpkin Town. After a rivalry with Oogie Boogie, he is now the patron spirit of Halloween. He makes meet-and-greet appearances outside of Phantom Manor during holidays, where people can get pictures with him.
Jack appears in various Disney theme parks, as well as in video games, including Disney Infinity, and PlayStation’s LittleBigPlanet 2. In Sony’s game, he’s a DLC costume that can be purchased from a variety of retailers. He’s also made a brief appearance in the Disney Channel series Tiny Toon Adventures.
Jack also appears in a downloadable expansion pack for the original film. This pack includes costumes for Jack, Sally, and the mayor. It also contains an epilogue, which is not seen in the film.
Jack’s skull also appears in the film Wendell and Wild. Henry Selick has been rumored to be writing the script for a 2022 film that revolves around Jack. Meanwhile, Jack is featured in the graphic novel series Lenore, where his face can be seen on a doormat.
Despite having a limited color palette, the character has been a favorite for fans of Halloween. Jack is the only black-and-white Disney character that has not been franchised. Most of his other incarnations are in technicolor, and he’s the only character that only appeared in Disney history.
Jack Skellington is a skeletal zombie, but he can remove parts of his body without harm. He’s also the patron spirit of Halloween, and his job is to scare people on Halloween night.
