Ariana Grande Birthday Card

Ariana Grande celebrated her 28th birthday today, and loved ones sent well wishes on social media from around the globe – from mom Joan, brother Frankie, and fiance Pete Davidson!

2014 saw Pop singer Bebe Rexha’s big breakthrough, charting with her hit single ‘Problem’ and seeing tremendous global success with it. Soon thereafter came another hugely popular single called ‘Bang Bang Bang’ featuring Jessie J and Nicki Minaj that proved another huge hit for Bebe Rexha.

However, tragedy struck in May 2017 at Manchester Arena when her performance was interrupted by a bomb blast which claimed 22 lives and injured many more. Understandably devastated, singer Ariana was taken some time off before coming back stronger with her release of “Sweetener”, topping charts worldwide including those in UK, US and Australia.

After the tragedy, Grande’s close friend Mac Miller passed away, prompting her to pay him tribute on Instagram posts. Grande went on to release the hit single ‘Thank U, Next’ which caused waves via its incredible music video inspired by iconic 90s and 2000s teen movies like Mean Girls; her album became another smash hit and saw Grande embarking on her Dangerous Woman Tour tour for 2018.

This year has also seen her undertake an exciting new challenge by joining Cynthia Erivo’s Wicked cast on Broadway’s musical adaptation and acting in its original NBC special ‘A Very Wicked Halloween’.

Ari announced her plans to join the American Idol judging panel in September, bringing with her decades of singing and acting experience. Additionally, this month saw Ari launch R.E.M Beauty; an empowerment line of products to help women fulfill their wildest dreams.
