He was the oldest of the Pevensie siblings in the film and 17 when cast. After attending an audition and being chosen by casting director Pippa Hall, he won his role.

For the duration of filming, all of the cast members lived together in their respective homes and visited each other regularly. While shooting took place, they were always laughing and having a good time.
